Oil and gas software.
Built around the people using it.
From Calgary, AuroTech builds software that connects field operations and the office: live monitoring, operational interfaces and training systems. Our published work covers managed pressure drilling, hydraulic fracturing and instrument software.
What we build
One operational picture, from equipment to interface.
- 01
Live monitoring interfaces
Bring pressure, rate and other operational readings into a view engineers can use. Show the context around an event, make stale data visible and design alerts around the people who need to act.
- 02
Cloud platforms and training
Connect users, jobs and systems through a platform the team can operate. Our drilling work includes live browser dashboards, job coordination and private simulator sessions for trainees.
- 03
Connected industrial equipment
Build guided touchscreen workflows and the edge software behind them. Our instrument work connects on-site testing to machine health ratings, trends and alerts while supporting offline operation.
Relevant work
Published projects, with the scope made clear.

Oil & gas · Managed pressure drilling
Live drilling oversight, and a simulator for every trainee
Wells followed live from the browser; every trainee practises on a private simulator.

Oil & gas · Hydraulic fracturing
A real-time control room for hydraulic fracturing
Engineers watch every stage live and are warned when a frac starts reaching a neighbouring well.

Industrial · Oil condition monitoring
From oil sample to verdict in minutes, on site
Sites test oil on their own bench and see every machine’s health, instead of waiting days for a lab.
How a project starts
Start with the workflow and the operating constraints.
Begin with one workflow: a control-room view, a field-to-office handoff, a guided instrument test or a training environment. Identify the operator, the information they need and the action the software should support.
Then map the existing systems, data ownership, access requirements and failure modes. Hardware availability, connectivity, legacy integrations and the consequences of a missed or repeated event all affect the first release.
Our discovery process turns those constraints into a prototype and a roadmap. Cloud, data, product and edge engineers can work on the same problem, with responsibility for deployment and operation agreed as part of the scope.
Project questions
Before you commission a build.
Do you sell a ready-made oil and gas software package?
We provide custom engineering services. The published projects illustrate the work we have delivered; they are not a catalogue of products available to buy or a promise that another client’s system can be reused.
Do you work with teams outside Calgary?
We are based in Calgary, Alberta, and serve Canadian businesses. We work remotely and discuss any on-site requirements during project planning.
Can you work with our existing equipment and systems?
Integration is part of discovery. We need to understand interfaces, protocols, data access and the people responsible for each system before agreeing the scope. A simulator can help test software behaviour before hardware integration.
